James R. Gargano, Jr., IFAS, ASA, SCRP, RAC Member started his appraisal career within the corporate sector after graduating from college in 1987. His journey began as a commercial appraiser working for a large national accounting firm.  After a couple years working on valuation projects in the hotel industry, healthcare industry, and entertainment industry, he decided to take his appraisal talents to the local market, in hopes of creating his own firm at some point.

After a few years working for various local appraisal firms, he aligned himself with Bomba Valuation Group, a full-service appraisal firm with emphasis on both residential and commercial appraising, including litigation and relocation valuations.  He worked alongside his mentor Ronald R. Bomba for several years, and eventually became partners with Ron.  In the early 2000’s James became the President/Managing Partner and sole owner of the firm – what would become Bomba Gargano Valuation, Inc.  Despite the well documented difficulties in the real estate market during the mid-2000’s, Bomba Gargano Valuation, Inc. has remained a viable and active player in the real estate valuation industry.  Countless banks/lenders, realtors, attorneys, accountants, relocation companies, corporations, governmental agencies, and individuals have come to rely on James and his firm as experts in the valuation and appraisal consulting sector.
